Long time no see!!

imageHello everyone!

Its been a long time since my last post and I apologize for that. This year has been a busy one for sure, between bluegrass, studying and shooting, I haven’t had many days off. I’m not complaining, I like being busy.

Shooting has become a big thing in my life. I’m shooting Rimfire and 3-gun as well as a few USPSA matches here and there. I knew that shooting 3-gun would be a big step for me but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I’m still improving and I know I have a long way to go. I’ve also been solidifying my relationships with sponsors, both old and new. I’ll be shooting in the Rimfire World Championships this weekend in Alabama and I’m very excited to take another long road trip down south.

I turned 15 last December and in a couple of months I’ll be able to hit the road by myself or with friends and that is something I’m really looking forward to.

My studies have continued at a fast pace too. Being homeschooled really helps with my schedule. I can take my schoolwork with me on the road and keep my school work up to date. I take a couple of classes that local school teachers teach me. My favorite is chemistry, it’s really interesting. We’ve been working on Quantum Mechanics and that is a really mind bender for sure!!!

My band and I have been playing lots of shows and festivals this year. We’ve traveled almost coast to coast, it’s a lot of fun meeting fans from all over the country. We only have a couple of shows planned for the rest of this year so I’ll be able to devote more time to school and shooting.

Fall is here and the leaves are starting to change, the cooler weather is very welcome. I enjoy spending time in the woods and sitting around campfires. We farm quite a bit and the sound of combines harvesting our grain is a wonderful sound to me.

I’ll have an update after the world championships so stay tuned!!!
