Yesterday was my first rimfire match of the season and I had a great match. It’s always fun to get back to shooting in the spring because you get to see your friends that you most likely haven’t seen all winter. It’s nice to see who got new sponsors and who got new guns and gear too. I try to practice before the first match of the season but actually shooting at the match is the best way to knock off the dust, and dusty I was!! I had some magazine trouble with my pistol but my new Volquartsen rifle ran flawlessly. In the end I got to see my friends and make some new ones. Overall, I would call that a successful day!! I’ll be leaving for the NRA annual meeting in a few days and I am so excited!!
